Osborne & Little Style: Decorating Themes and Combinations

Osborne & Little Style: Decorating Themes and Combinations

The firm's principles are tried and true: accents of bright color to jazz up neutral fabrics; bold wallpaper patterns for large-proportioned spaces...This is an aesthetic of abundance, dressed for success.

The Osborne & Little design concepts grew from the swinging '60s, when innovation was the watchword of the day. Updated for the 1990s, the look has mellowed and matured but retains a tiny bit of the raffishness of its wilder years. There's something to suit everyone--everyone, that is, with an inclination for a sort of toned-down grandeur, whether it's in a spacious city flat or the country cottages of Antony Little and Peter Osborne themselves.
The Osborne & Little look is embodied in fabulous wallpapers and fabrics, and this book displays a dizzying assortment of patterns in some decidedly unusual combinations. There are also "quieter" rooms, with creamy walls, tasteful prints, and cushy furniture, for those who prefer a more traditional decorating approach. There's nothing particularly innovative about the design advice here, but it's not too fluffy, and the pictures are pleasant, making Osborne & Little Style a great coffee-table book for the well-heeled design maven.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Decorating my mini tree, yay! I'm a little sad, this is the first year I've had a tree smaller than 6 feet. Ah well it's real at least :D

And yes, my tree topper IS a little monkey with a santa hat ♥

There's lots of angels on my tree because that was my theme so all my Christmas stuff that my mom buys me is angelic. Cause I'm mommy's little angel ;)
